Department of Advanced Materials Engineering
Introduction
The Department offers various programs such as materials processing, structure-property of materials, thermodynamics, ceramics, electronic materials, semi-conductor processing, etc. Also, graduate degree programs and post-graduate programs for a doctoral degree are offered. Current research fields cover recycling of strategic elements from cemented carbide, ceramics powder processing, metallography and design of electronic and optical property, electronic materials, semicondutor, and computer simulation of metal fabrication processes.
After graduation, students can work as prominent engineers in the areas of iron and steel making, electronics, automobiles, and shipbuilding companies as well as in other various production companies for metals, ceramics, and semi-conducting material. Also, they can enter graduate schools for higher education or can have jobs in various public and private research centers, public corporations, and national institutions.
